Almost ready to go!

After a great time in London we decided that it’s time for a new adventure. For the next 6 months we will be travelling through South America! Getting ready to explore, camp, learn and reflect.

Our plan in short:

• Flight from Amsterdam to Buenos Aires on the 20th of March
• Flight from Buenos Aires to Rio Gallegos (South of Argentina)
• Bus from Rio Gallegos to Punta Arenas (Chili) to pick up our hippie style campervan
• Cruise around as happy campers for about 6 weeks through the mountains and rural areas of Patagonia from South Chili all the way up North to the Atacama desert – this is going to be freezing cold to start of with as winter is already on its way over there…
• After our road trip through Chili and Argentina we will stay in Bolivia for a couple of weeks so Rene can start to learn some proper Spanish
• Furthermore we would like to visit Peru, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Colombia and perhaps Brasil. We try not to make too many plans, we would like to say “Yes!” to almost everything that we think is worth checking out…let’s see where time will take us
• At the moment our flight back is scheduled at the end of September from Rio to Amsterdam, but this is a flexible ticket… 😉
